TIMED ZONES allow you to specify 4
areas (Hot Zones/Masking), such as the front door instead of the swaying tree
nearby, in which to focus uViewIt's motion detection. In addition, you can set
specific time intervals during which to perform this custom scanning. |

With the camera in scan mode, click the TIMED ZONES button. This
action will create a grid over the entire area being scanned, and pop
a console requesting the time interval you want set for the first Hot
Zone. Before you set the time, specify the Hot Zone by clicking the
individual grids you want de-activated from the scanning. The large X
will mark the areas deactivated. Then, simply enter the time
interval you want the custom scanning to occur.

Eg. The area marked "HI" is de-activated from scanning from
8:00am to 8:00pm.
